But I just had to share these awesome photos that I took today of d and I :) I may not be the best photographer but there are something about these pictures that I have fallen in love with. Maybe its because they arent in the best of focus and it makes them look a tad rustic and old.... Anyways here they are :)

I Dream of Tory

I bought a new handbag. One that I rationalized by convincing myself that this would be the perfect "career handbag" for my future?!! Its beautiful, perfect size and of course Tory Burch; except its black and I have quite a few black leather handbags. But this one is different because its not as dressy as my Marc Jacobs and its not as casual as my crossbody Marc Jacobs bag.... This one is just different and perfect! I love it, I fell in love with it when I first set my eyes on it and had my co worker hold it in back for me for just a couple of weeks while I mulled over my decision...  So..... I decided that I am going to tell people when they ask me why I bought another handbag is that "it will grow with me through the years.... blah blah blah."  When really I just need to admit that I have a shopping addiction and that I just really really wanted the purse. I have an addiction to expensive handbags, but I always rationalize it in my head because I will have them for "years." See where this is going?? Shopping rehab, because I think my logical thinking is logical when it really isnt!!
Anyways, whatever reason I bought it doesnt matter because I fell in love yesterday.... With another Tory Burch handbag!

I think dustbags are so cool, I adore them. Yes, I am one of those freaks who stores every handbag in their respective dustbag while I am not using that certain handbag.... I think everyone else should as well, maybe then people wouldnt return damaged handbags after 6 months. Hello?! Use the dustbag for storage that is what they are for! - Rant for the day :)

Friday Finds :)

Hi! Back now after a couple month hiatus with my Friday Finds, geared toward my budget conscious but still fashionable side of me :) Every Friday I try to scope out some super great deals because who doesnt need some 'after the work week' shopping? Cause I KNOW I DO! I checked out the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and unfortunately did not see much that suited my eye :( sad face! I was really looking forward to it! I eventually ended up over at Urban Outfitters and scoured their sale racks and this is what I found....

Shorts are by Ecote' and were $19.99. I am really loving high waisted shorts, I think they are adorable. But I cant figure out if these are really cute or really ugly? Either way... I like em!

 Romper is by Silence+Noise and is $29.99. I really like the open back detail :)

Frienship Bracelets and Tribal Necklaces... Oh My!

Im obsessed with accessories, whether that be jewelry, handbags or shoes. I love it all! Clothing comes in 2nd. Mainly because I believe that you can make or break any outfit with what you decide to accessorize with. At work I have to wear all black and I usually wear my BCBG power skirt and a cute cropped blazer or when I feel more freespirited I wear a long flowy black shirt (my favorite one from H&M) over my skirt. Yeah I am boring at work... BUT my outfits look different almost everyday because of the accessories that I chose to adorn myself in.
1. I love HUGE BOLD statement necklaces. I buy most of my jewerly from F21 or H&M or Baublebox.com or giltgroupe.com sometimes ruelala.com
2. I also love friendship bracelets and I layer them up my arm. I make my own or buy them from H&M, right now they have AWESOME I mean AWEEESOMMME friendship bracelets in store!

 Really adore this outfit. Shorts are from Francescas Collections and shirt is from F21. I am really into highwaisted shorts right now and even though the outfit is fairly subdued I think the accessories give it that extra edge or pop! 

Friendship bracelts!! Ahhh dying of excitement cause I love them so much! I mentioned earlier that H&M has a great selection of these bracelets but so does baublebox.com and most of them remind me of Chan Luu. Wish that I would have known about that website before I spent a lot of money on my Chan Luu cause the one on the website looks identical ;) 

Tribal inspired pieces are so hot right now. That necklace is bangin!

Have you ever heard of birchbox.com?! If not you are TRULY missing out and I urge you to go to the website and sign up! It's like a magazine subscription, you pay 10 dollars a month and get deluxe beauty samples (some might even be full sized like the Laura Geller Baked Blush & Brighten that I received in my June birchbox.) sent right to your door! What could be better?! I read about this in my May Cosmopolitan issue and couldnt be any happier with what I have received in the mail! I have even ended up buying the full size products because I love them so much and probably would have never even heard of them without this service!

This was my June Birchbox filled with Kate Spade's new fragrance Twirl which smelled fantastic, Herban Essentials Towlettes which I bought for myself and absolutley love; perfect for removing access makeup or if you just want to freshen up because the towlette is infused with orange YUM! Laura Geller Baked Blush & Brighten was full sized and wonderful, Oscar Blandi di Jasmine Hair Serum and I have tried this product before and thought it was great and last but not least Pangea Organics Toner for Normal to Combination Skin and I also bought this full sized! I had an extra packet of some lotion but unfortunately forgot the name of it... Whoops

This is my July Birchbox - Excited to open it because Cynthia Rowley picked all of the items that were in this month's Birchbox, how cool :)

This box was filled with Ahava Mineral Handcream which is to die for! Philosphy 1 Step Facial Cleanser, Redken Shine Flash Glistening Mist which I already love after 1 day of use and the super gorgeous Zoya Nailpolish in nude, cant wait to get my manicure!! I also had an extra goodie called Kind Almond and Apricot Wholesome Bar - Sorry that it was half eaten, it was yummy!

It's Britney!

Yes, last night my best girl Carrie and I went to The Femme Fatale tour in St. Paul! We had such a blast and even though the concert got less than great reviews I thought that it was awesome! Nicki Minaj's performance was electric and one of the first opening groups was  Nervo and they are from Australia and they kicked butt too! We sat next to the funniest gay guys and they kept us laughing throughout the whole concert, it was a fabulous Wednesday night! I just have a question as to why girls think that it is okay to wear lingerie straight from Fredericks to a concert? Because you dont look cute you look trashy. Ok thats it, my rant for the day. Britney is back, actually she never went anywhere but I think she is definitely proving that she isnt going anywhere at all anytime soon! LOVED IT!

Family Road Trip 2011

My grandma, mom and I decided to take a road trip to Duluth for the 4th of July weekend! D of course tagged along and we had a nice relaxing couple of days up north. I visited all of the places that I wanted to see and even picked up some awesome stones to make some new jewlery with (i will post a link to my etsy shop later) I decided to start making simple beaded bracelets with charms because that is usually what I wear on a daily basis for jewelry and why should I spend 20 dollars on something when I can make it myself or sell it for way cheaper!
